I am Emi Fukahori, born in Japan, based in Switzerland and co-founded MAME in 2016. My specialty coffee journey started with championships back in 2015. I have been fascinated ever since about the world of coffee and people in this industry, really excited to get inspired and taste great coffees!

Andrea Allen is the Co-Founder of Onyx Coffee Lab, the 2020 US Barista Champion, and the 2021 World Barista Champion Runner Up. She is passionate about bringing people together through coffee, uniting every person along the supply chain, bridging gaps between generations, and creating space where great conversations can happen. Andrea also enjoys running, riding horses, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

I am Shanya Taratikundech from Bangkok, Thailand. For nearly two decades, I've embraced diverse roles: leading at the Promchim Coffee Academy, pioneering as a Microbiologist Coffee Process Research Consultant at Srinakharinwirot University, and holding WCC-certified judgeships. “Coffee inspires me through the diverse people.”

I’m Ella Simon, a self-employed barista, coach, consultant and event caterer. Back in 2018 I started working with specialty coffee, but fell in love with the community around it first. Since then I’ve learned a lot about all parts of the value chain and do now enjoy sharing and exchanging knowledge with many different people all over the world. Competing is a great platform of showcasing new innovations and beliefs and I’m happy I got to represent Germany at the World Barista Championships 2023.
